Pravega knows that you care about how your personal information is used and shared, and we take your privacy seriously. Please read the following to learn more about our privacy policy. By visiting the Pravega website and using Pravega services, you are accepting the practices outlined in this Privacy Statement.

What Does This Privacy Policy Cover?
This Privacy Policy covers Pravega’s treatment of personal information that Pravega gathers when you are on the Pravega website and when you use Pravega services. Also, this Policy covers Pravega’s treatment of any personal information that Pravega’s business partners share with Pravega.

This policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that Pravega does not own or control, or to individuals that Pravega does not employ or manage.

What Personal Information About Customers Does Pravega Collect?
Our primary goal in collecting personal information is to provide you with a friendly, customized, and efficient experience. We collect the following types of information from our customers:

Information You Provide to Us: 
We receive and store any information you enter on our website or provide to us in any other way. You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of many of our features. The personal information you provide is used for such purposes as responding to your requests for certain products and services, customizing the advertising and content you see, and communicating with you about specials and new products. 

CRM Data: As a user of the vegaPort CRM service, you enter data into the CRM system related to your internal sales and marketing program. This data is completely private and Pravega has no access to this data. We cannot see this data without your permission and do not use this data in any form or for any purpose. Only the account owner has access to the CRM data.

Subscribers: In order for you to receive promotional information as a subscriber (“Subscriber”) from marketers (“Member Companies”) who work with Pravega and promotions directly from Pravega, you must complete a registration form ("Subscriber Profile Information"). We require your contact information (such as name, address, email address, and phone number) as well as certain demographic information in order to provide you with personalized offers. Your Profile Information will only be made available in anonymous, aggregated form, not in a personally identifiable way to Member Companies. Your contact information will never be shared or revealed to anyone. Individual level profile data is also never revealed to anyone. You have complete control over how often and when you are contacted and can choose to opt-out anytime you wish. Member Companies cannot contact you directly via email. We aggregate the offers from Member Companies into a single email message which is delivered by us.

Member Companies: We collect information about the usage of our Pravega Network Marketing Services (vegaMail, vegaPhone etc.) by Member Companies. This information is added to our database and will be shared with other Member Companies in anonymous, aggregated form, not in an identifiable way, in order to improve results for all participants. If you are a Member Company who purchases services from Pravega, we require contact information (such as billing address). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. We also collect information about your organization when you join our network ("Member Profile Information"). This information can be made available to other Member Companies of the Pravega Network to help them connect with you, to ask for vendor services from you or to make offers of partnerships. Your contact information will not be shared or revealed to anyone. The Member Profile Information is similar to information on your own organization's website and can help you find new business and also generate traffic to your site.

Pravega only has access to Subscriber Profile Information and Member Profile Information and Automatic Information as described below. Pravega does not sell or rent any of this data to anyone for any purpose. We do however aggregate the data across all our users and make it available in statistical categorization formats to Member Companies to take advantage of the Pravega Network Marketing Services. In this process, we always ensure individual level data is never made available or revealed to anyone. In addition, all users have complete control over how and when they are contacted by Pravega with promotional offers. Member Company offers are aggregated by Pravega into a single email message and delivered by Pravega. Member Companies cannot send emails directly to users. Users can choose to opt-out of the service anytime they wish.

Automatic Information:
We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. When you visit our website, Pravega automatically receives and records certain "traffic data" on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, Pravega cookie information, and the page you requested. Pravega uses this traffic data to help diagnose problems with its server, analyze trends and administer the Site. When Subscribers receive promotional e-mails and other communications initiated from Pravega Member Companies or by Pravega itself, we automatically receive and record data.

Generally, our service automatically collects website usage information, such as the numbers and frequency of visitors to our site and its components, similar to TV ratings that indicate how many people watched a particular show. This data is only used in the aggregate. This type of collective data enables us to figure out how often customers use parts of the site, so we can make the site appealing to as many customers as possible. In addition, we may provide statistical information, not information about you personally, to our partners about how our Subscribers and Member Companies, collectively, use our site and services. We share this type of statistical data so that our partners also understand how often people use our site and services, so that they too, may provide you with an optimal experience.

Web Beacons:
In limited circumstances we also may use “web beacons” to collect anonymous, non-personal information about your use of our website and the sites of selected sponsors and advertisers, and your use of emails and promotions we send to you. “Web beacons” are tiny graphic image files imbedded in a web page or e-mail that provide a presence on the web page or e-mail and send back to its home server information from the user’s browser. The information collected by web beacons allows us to statistically monitor how many people are using the site and selected sponsors' and advertisers' sites, or opening our e-mails, and for what purposes.

E-mail Communications:
We often receive a confirmation when you open an e-mail from Pravega if your computer supports this type of program, in order to help us make e-mails more interesting and helpful. We also send out emails with news or promotions. If you do not want to receive e-mail from us, please write to us at privacy@pravega.net or make appropriate changes to your preferences in your Pravega Subscriber account. Note that changes to your preferences may not take effect immediately. You will also continue to receive administrative e-mails from Pravega as long as you are a Subscriber but these are likely to be quite infrequent. If you opt out of promotional e-mails or phone calls from specific Pravega Member Companies, this may affect the quality of service you receive from Pravega.

Information From Other Sources:
We may receive information about Subscribers from other sources and add it to our account information. Additionally, if a Subscriber employed by a Member Company is introduced to Pravega through the employer, the employer may share his/her job title and business unit with us to confirm his/her employment when the Subscriber account is opened with us. All information from other sources is also subject to same privacy standards as directly entered Subscriber Profile Information.

What about Cookies?
Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and tell us how and when pages in our site are visited and by how many people. Pravega cookies do not collect personal information.

The “help” portion of the toolbar on the majority of browsers will direct you on how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to command the browser to tell you when you receive a new cookie, or how to fully disable cookies. We strongly recommend that you leave the cookies activated, however, because cookies enable you to take advantage of some of Pravega’s most attractive features.

Some of our business partners may use cookies on our site to provide us with anonymous data and information regarding the use of our website. We do not link the information stored in these cookies directly to any personal information you submit to the site, however. 

Will Pravega Share Any of the Information it Receives?
Information about our customers is an integral part of our business. We neither rent nor sell your personal information to anyone; We do not share contact information with anyone in any form. We may share your personal information as described below.

Agents:
We employ other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and sometimes need to share your information with them to provide products or services to you. Examples include fulfilling orders from Member Companies, sending postal mail and e-mail, making marketing phone calls, removing repetitive information from Subscriber lists, analyzing data and providing marketing assistance. We only deliver data in non-personally identifiable form so your privacy is always completely secure.  Whenever information is shared with contracted external service providers, the service providers are required to ensure total and complete security and privacy of information.

Business Transfers:
In some cases, we may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, customer information is typically one of the business assets that is transferred. Moreover, if Pravega, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, customer information would be one of the assets that is transferred to the new owners.

Protection of Pravega and Others:
We may release personal information when we believe in good faith that release is necessary to comply with the law; enforce or apply our conditions of use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Pravega, our employees, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

With Your Consent:
Except as set forth above, you will be notified when your personal information may be shared with third parties.

Is Information About Me Secure?
Your Pravega Account Information is protected by a password for your privacy and security. You need to work to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer by signing off once you have finished using a shared computer.

We use industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software to protect the security of your personal information during transmission, which encrypts all of the personal information you input.

Only employees who need personal information to perform a specific job (for example, a customer service representative) are granted access to it. All of our employees are kept up to date on our privacy and security practices.

What Information Can I Access?
Pravega allows you to access your Subscriber Profile Information and Member Profile Information for the singular purpose of viewing, and in certain situations, updating that information. You also have access to your CRM data, which Pravega never accesses without your express permission.

What Choices Do I Have?
As stated previously, you can always opt not to disclose information, even though it may be needed to take advantage of certain Pravega features.

You are able to add or update certain information by logging on to your Pravega account and using the editing functions provided. When you update information, however, we often maintain a copy of the unrevised information in our records.

You may request deactivation of your Pravega account by sending an e-mail to deleteaccount@pravega.net. Please note that your personal information will remain in our records after deactivation of your account unless you request otherwise, but Pravega will not use this information in any way.

If you wish to discontinue receiving promotional e-mails, postal mail, and other communications from Pravega or the Member Companies who use Pravega’s services, please make the appropriate changes to your Subscriber account or deactivate your account by sending an e-mail to deleteaccount@pravega.net. Please note that if you do not want to receive legal notices from us, such as this Privacy Policy, those legal notices will still govern your use of the Pravega web site and services, and you are responsible for reviewing such legal notices for changes.

Can Children Use Pravega’s Services?
Pravega does not provide services to children. If you are under 18, you may view the Pravega site only with involvement of a parent or guardian, and you many not register to become a Pravega Subscriber.

Conditions of Use
If you decide to visit the Pravega site and use Pravega’s services, your visit and any possible dispute over privacy is subject to this Privacy Policy and the Subscriber Agreement and/or the Master Member Agreement, including limitations on damages, arbitration of disputes, and application of New York state law. 

Third Party Sites
The Service may permit you to link to other websites on the Internet, and other websites may contain links to the Site. These other websites are not under Pravega control. The privacy and security practices of websites linked to or from the Site or Pravega e-mails are not covered by this Privacy Statement, and Pravega is not responsible for the privacy or security practices or the content of such websites.

Changes to this Privacy Policy
Pravega may amend this Privacy Policy. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. If we make changes to our privacy policy, we will notify you by posting an announcement on our web site so you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances if any, it is disclosed.
